How to Clean a Makeup Brush

Step 3: Massage the brush bristles into the soapy solution on your hand, allowing the water to run through the bristles. Move the brush bristles in soft, gentle circular motions.
Step 4: Once the water running through the bristles runs clear, stop the water. Make sure not to submerge the bristles or soak the brush head.
Step 5: Use a towel to gently squeeze out any excess water that remains in the brush. Air-dry the bristles in a well-ventilated area.
